HCT stands for Hematocrit, which measures the percentage of your total blood volume that is made up of red blood cells.

Normal Range

  • Men: 40.7% to 50.3%
  • Women: 36.1% to 44.3%

What Abnormal Values Mean

  • Low HCT: May indicate anemia, blood loss, or nutritional deficiencies
